When we have some drive full of important files and folders, and you want to don’t show any other person. Then we have to do something for hiding your drive. Hide drive in windows doesn’t mean to erase your data.

There are four ways to hide drive in windows and now you can see the ways but we discuss one way.
The four ways are:-
            1. With Disk Management
            2. With Group Policy
            3. With Registry Edit
            4. With Command Prompt using Diskpart

Hide drive in window operating system.

Step1.

Right click on computer and then click on manage. Or press window button + R and type diskmgmt.msc

Step2.

Computer management will open and click on Disk Management and wait for the response.

Step3.





Right click on the drive which you want to hide and click on change drive letter and path.

Step4.

Here you see the dialog pops up click on Remove button.

Step5.

Now you see the warning of that program i.e use drive letter no longer function you name click on yes to continue. 

Well, you have successfully hide drive in your windows operating system.

UNHIDE YOUR DRIVE IN WINDOWS

Step1.

Open disk management as shown above and follow the step1 to step3.

Choose to add to add drive letter or path.




Choose a drive letter then click on ok

Well, you have completed all stage of hiding or unhiding drive.
