In the era of online communication and getting the online solution in all these case we need browsers help us for doing these task. Using pipelining, Inbuilt feature of Mozilla Firefox.

  1. Pipelining

Pipelining is one of an inbuilt feature of Mozilla Firefox and many websites have already taken about this feature. The Pipelining allows Firefox to send multiple requests to the web server at a moment. This feature is not enabled default we have to make it useful.

Step 1.

Type about:config in the address bar or URL box.

Step 2.

You will see the notice given by Firefox. “This might void your warranty!” And you have to click on “I’ll be careful, I promise!”

Step 3.

Type pipelining in the search box.

Step 4.

Search network.http.pipelinig in the list below and make it true by double click.

Step 5.

Next search network.http.proxy.pipelining. in the list below and make it true by double click.

Step 6.

Again search network.http.pipelining.maxrequests change its value in 8 (it’s 32 by default) double click on it and edit.

Now restart your browser.

Method 2.

Using Random method

  1. Enable HTTP Cache

Comparison to other browser Firefox is faster browser because it has one more feature that is Enable HTTP Cache. After enabling this feature Firefox will get rid of most UI legs.

Step 1.

Type about:config in the address bar or URL box.

Step 2.

You will see the notice given by Firefox. “This might void your warranty!” And you have to click on “I’ll be careful, I promise!”.

Step 3.

Type browser.cache.use_new_backkend in search box.

Step 4.

Double-click on it and set into value 1 (it’s 0 by default).

  1. Clear browsing history and others

Honestly, this is not the even method to mention, but it’s highly recommended to clear your browsing history. Once in a week and if you should give it a try if their temporary files will be kept for a long time then your web browser will surely become heavy. Due to this Firefox will maybe hang and page loading becomes slow.

Step 1.

Open Mozilla Firefox goes to History tab by pressing Alt (if the menu bar is not showing).

Click on history tab and then Clear Recent History

Step 2.

Click on Clear Recent History (ctrl+shift+del)

Step 3.

Click on Drop down menu front of the Time range to clear. Then, I recommend choosing Everything if you are doing this first time after a long time. And then click on Clear Now.

Warning:- Cleaning everything will erase your all history and previously visited sites and others, so careful at doing this task. If you don’t want to this happen then choose other options.


  1. Removing Add-ons

Sometimes add-ons help us more than our thinking. But they consume our data in unnecessary things. They required internet connections sometimes and they take the time to open Mozilla Firefox. They make the slow response on loading page also. I recommend avoiding using unnecessary add-ons.

4.1 Run browser in Safe Mode (Windows PC)

Mozilla Firefox has inbuilt feature and it’s very helpful for all Mozilla user. This feature disables theme and plugin installed in your Firefox. In the current version, Safe Mode menu replaced by Restart with add-ons disable/enable.


In Mozilla Firefox go to Help tab and click on Restart with add-ons enable/disable.

Click on Help tab and then Restart with Add-ons Disabled if installed or not

And Click on Restart.

Step 2.

Click on Start in Safe Mode.

Now Firefox will open in safe mode and all add-ons or theme will be disabled.

4.2  Run Safe Mode in Mac os.

Open Terminal and type this command.

/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -safe-mode

4.3  Run Safe Mode in Linux

/path/to/firefox/firefox -safe-mode

Method 3.

Using speed up Extension

Using extensions are not so good idea, Personally, I don’t recommend to use extensions but here are some extensions which can help you to make page loading fast in Firefox.

  1. SPEED TWEAKS (Speedfox): – Download and install this extension in your browser. Which makes your browser mozilla firefox faster.
  2. Betterfox:- Another official extension by Mozilla Firefox. It makes browsing experience 15% faster as it claims.
  3. Adblocker Plus: – Some website contains many pop-up ads which make our browser slow and it also irritating. They also make slow our internet connection.
